Dr. Alasdair Honeyman, Associate, Good Governance Institute

Alasdair is an experienced GP and now a leading health process consultant. He has particular 
expertise in conflict management and governance within and between healthcare organisations, focusing on whole system engagement at every level of the UK health care system.  

Alasdair's expertise in the health sector encompasses intellectual, practical and improvisatory models of organisational change, situated learning, group dynamics, complex responsive processes, narrative methods and sense-making across the clinical, corporate and financial domains.

His interventions have been with small teams and at system levels serving up to 3 million people. As is a GP he worked at every level of the NHS, including the DH. Alasdair provides adaptive leadership coaching to the top and the bottom of the office. He undertakes detailed work with small teams. He draws on people to build common purpose and, through meticulous focus on the relational dynamics, supports distributed leaders to set clear direction and develop the ability to deliver on their commitments. He was part of the GGI team delivering the board development programme with Capsticks in 2010.
