The point is, just as different vehicles are suited to different functions, so different ends require different means in order to achieve them.

It is the same with organisational strategy; the goals set by the board require an appropriate and proportionate response from the organisation in order to achieve them. It is therefore necessary to align an organisation’s resources—both tangible (structure, processes, etc.) and tacit (e.g., culture, values and so on)—with what the organisation is trying to achieve.

In this session, we will explore the practicalities of strategic alignment and how it can enable organisations to focus their resources more closely with the goals they want to achieve.

To guide us through this discussion, we will be joined by Susana Hernandez, Executive Director, Taith.
