Biography
Jonathan is an Investor Partner at GGI. He is also currently the Chair of the Board of Trustees of Patient Safety Learning.
Jonathan's patient safety career began at Datix, a global leading patient safety software provider and portfolio company of FAPI and FACP. Jonathan is the founder and former CEO.
During Jonathan's tenure as CEO from 2009 to 2015, Datix evolved from a UK-centric, largely on-premise software firm to a SaaS-based provider of patient safety software and analytics, serving over 550 clients worldwide, including hospitals across the US, UK, Canada, Australia and the Middle East.
As part of his work, Jonathan was also influenced by patients and families affected by harm in healthcare and social care, as well as staff who had been unfairly treated for raising concerns. Jonathan stepped down as chief executive at the end of 2015 and started work in 2016 on what was to become Patient Safety Learning, a foundation promoting patient safety around the world. Jonathan is now chair of the board of trustees of Patient Safety Learning.
Jonathan graduated from Durham University with a BSc in Computer Science.
