Biography
Roisin joined the GGI team as our head of events in 2020 after originally working with us on a freelance basis.
Roisin has over 30 years’ experience working in both public and private sectors. For several years she ran her own company in Ireland, achieving significant retail listings and export markets during that time. In more recent times she was the Regional Director of Northern Ireland for MCI Group, one of the largest global communications and events companies.
During this time, she managed teams in multiple locations, overseeing both the Association Management Consulting and Professional Conference Organisers division of MCI UK. This included lead executive director support to the Renal Association, UKPIN (Network of Immunologists), and ICSA (International Companies Secretary Association) to name a few and working on high profile events such as the G8, Giro d’Italia and delivering a peer-to-peer learning programme for the educational sector for the Department of Education.
Roisin joined GGI in May 2019 initially as an Associate to oversee the events portfolio. Now as GGI’s Head of Events she oversees the conception and delivery of our events and also leads of the GGI Academy, the training arm of the Good Governance Institute.
