GGI annual lecture - because we can flip the script | 22 September 2021
02 June 2021
Each year the GGI Festival of Governance revolves around a central theme aligned with what is going on across the world and how we might improve and look at governance differently over the next year.
The annual lecture will be led by internationally renowned soprano and mind coach, Nadine Benjamin MBE. Nadine will be joined by our keynote speaker - Prof. Jaideep Prabhu, senior lecturer at Cambridge Business School and author of: How should a government be.
Following the keynote, Sir Michael Marmot will be presented with the Good Governance Award 2021, in recognition of his extensive and dedicated work on health inequalities and evidence-based decision making.
This year's theme is ‘good governance because we can flip the script’ – turning thoughts and ideas on their heads, thinking about and seeing them differently.
To flip the script we must focus on change. Change is supported by intentions, systems, mindset and culture – the four themed weeks for the festival this year.
Participation, imagination, intimacy and original thinking is what the festival is all about, so it’s time to find creative ways forward beyond covid-19 towards a brighter future for all.
The annual lecture is the opportunity for leaders from across the public, third and private sectors to meet and explore ways to secure a bright future with better outcomes.
