GGI and PHP Roundtable | 13 July 2022 | Zoom

27 June 2022

Estates management is one of the largest strategic risks for the NHS. In 2020/21, it was reported that the NHS’ backlog maintenance reached £9.2 billion, a figure that has been growing year on year since 2013/14

How might the introduction of ICSs help us tackle major estate challenges and what are the opportunities for integrated care to be a driver of change and an enabler of the key aims? Join us for a roundtable as we discuss these issues and more.

The Good Governance Institute is a leading research and consultancy organisation working in healthcare, higher education and the third sector. We publish regularly in order to share knowledge and expertise, and to highlight issues which are pertinent to the organisations we work with. One such issue is the condition of the NHS estate and the implications of this for patient safety.

We have partnered with Primary Health Properties, the leading investor in modern healthcare properties in the UK and Ireland, to conduct research into the opportunities for healthcare estate, particularly primary, community and outpatient, under Integrated Care Systems (ICSs).

Our guest speakers are:

  • Tony Coke – Director, Primary Health Properties
  • Kerry Harding – Director of Estates, Mid & South Essex ICB

The event will be chaired by GGI Senior Consultant Simon Crick.

The roundtable will take place virtually between 16.00 - 17.00 on Wednesday 13 July 2022.

By joining us you will:

  • gain early insight into our research,
  • hear from, and debate with, a variety of experts,
  • have the opportunity to contribute to and strengthen our national guidance, which will be made freely available to all

To confirm your place, please RSVP to events@good-governance.org.uk.
