12 June 2022
Last year the Good Governance Institute ran a series of events about future ICS and systems work, and developed a number of briefings. There has been a real appetite and requests for further breakfast meetings to be held on the subject matter. Therefore, we are working on a further series of events and topics that we will host over the coming months.
The next webinar in this year’s series, 'One Big Team: nurturing engagement, involvement and connectivity in ICSs'
We will be joined by Rory Hegarty, Director of Communications and Engagement, North West London Integrated Care System, Francesca Hunt, Co-owner and Managing Director, MaST Evolution, Brian 'Mitch' Mitchell, Group MD, MaST Evolution. The session will be chaired by Stephen McCulloch, Director of Engagement and Corporate Affairs at the Good Governance Institute.
The format of these meetings will be input from a couple of speakers on their own thoughts and experience, then it will open up to the attendees for a facilitated open discussion encouraging comments, questions and answers.

Stephen McCulloch, Director of Engagement and Corporate Affairs Good Governance Institute
Stephen joined GGI in July 2020 and is GGI’s Communications Director. Prior to joining GGI he led a diverse range of regulatory and health engagement and communications teams for over a decade.
During his time at GGI he has worked with public, third sector and private clients on a broad range of projects. This has included stakeholder deep-dives and recommendations for new approaches, large creative internal communications change projects and training programmes for large NHS organisations.
At GGI he has led the communications team to the development of a brand new website, alongside a plethora of free events and thought leadership publications about good governance.
Prior to GGI his work with Ofwat, the water regulator, included leading the corporate communications team to develop national stakeholder engagement and influence campaigns alongside media and events. He led the stakeholder relationship programme for the development of a pivotal new strategy for the sector, which included working with water companies to better integrate with their communities and cross-sector local organisations to become true anchor organisations. Stephen has also led multi-disciplinary teams to integrate health messages across a complex and diverse range of audiences. Developing and delivery a series of face-to-face and digital events for a complex network of NHS anchor institutions and clinical commissioning groups, which saw an increase in the understanding of health messages across south London.
