Rising Star Nursing Award 2022

The Good Governance Institute (GGI) is proud to announce the launch of the 2022 Rising Star Nursing Award.

The award, now in its second year, is presented to a UK nurse, at any stage of their nursing career, who is seen to be a rising star: showing a passion for the care for patients and best outcomes for citizens.

To nominate someone – or yourself – for the award, please complete our online form before Thursday 20 October 2022. Nominations will then be shortlisted and judged by an expert panel.

GGI launched the award last year in memory of Julie Bolus, a highly experienced and well-respected nurse, NHS executive director and NHS non-executive director, who passed away in April 2021 following a short illness.

Julie had been a GGI senior associate for many years. The Julie Bolus Rising Star Nursing Award, as it was called last year, is GGI’s attempt to catalyse Julie’s energy and passion for nursing.
