Minutes matter because they record a group’s decisions, including actions, and they are evidence of deadlines and accountability.

GGI offers an introduction to the art of taking good minutes and why minutes are important. A considerable part of this seminar is devoted to listening skills and how to develop them, including some exercises and practice.

Our interactive training enables you to learn about:

  • * The art of listening
  • * The basics of good minute-taking practice
  • * Different approaches to minute-taking according to the meeting
  • * Useful tips and tactics

The course can be extended to offer a critique of participants’ minutes – or this can be offered as a subsequent add-on.

Our next minute-taking training course for individuals will be on Tuesday, 27 February at 11am-2pm. Courses for groups of individuals from the same organisation are organised on request.

To learn more, use the button below and complete the enquiry form, we will then contact you do discuss your needs and registration.

GGI has a good grasp of how systems do—and sometimes don't—work. They work well with leaders from across different sectors and maintain a clear focus on improvement and creating better outcomes.

Your feedback

Time with the GGI team is always worthwhile. They really understand the world of public sector leaders and their advice and counsel are to be valued. They are history holders too, with enormous experience of how public sector leaders have adapted through periods of major change and challenge.
