Risk management is an effective system of control that is key to any successful organisation. It is the process that allows organisations and individuals to manage risk proactively, minimise potential issues and maximise the opportunity for learning and outcomes.

Our training provides a common understanding of risk management basic principles and offers practical help in undertaking risk assessments and the management of risks.

Our interactive training approach will enable you to:

  • * understand the importance of risk management and the key concepts involved

  • * know the roles, responsibilities, escalation and governance in risk management at your organisation

  • * gain an overview of the stages in the risk management process

  • * understand your trust’s risk policy and processes

The training includes a film aligned with your organisational policies, an interactive training session with one of our experts, a Q&A document for all attendees to take away and a test for participants. All trainees receive a certificate.

GGI quickly understood our requirements and were able to apply considerable experience of similar assignments to help us refine our approach. The review has given us invaluable insight that is helping to shape our future strategy and informing our approach to stakeholder relationships.

Your feedback

The report received was not uncritical but encouraged an open response that was not defensive and has led on to a separate piece of work to further clarify the effect of delegations, with a view to giving all parties greater confidence that matters are being dealt with appropriately.
